Testicle problems

The testes produce sperm and the male hormone testosterone. They develop in the abdomen and usually descend into the scrotum before birth. They can cause problems if they fail to descend to the correct position, or if they become infected, swollen or cancerous. Problems might include pain, swelling or infertility.
