In an article by Chao et al published in BJUI 2018 the authors add to the growing evidence that hydrogel spacer (Space OAR®) injected between the rectum and prostate prior to radiotherapy for prostate cancer significantly reduces radiotherapy toxicity, and therefore complications. In this article the effect was seen for all prostate sizes.
